Circle trip through Vorarlberg
Bludenz - Feldkirch - Dornbirn - Bregenzerwald - Lech am Arlberg - Klostertal - Bludenz
Starting and ending in Bludenz you can discover Vorarlberg very easily by car and make a nice round trip to get to know the country at its best. Besides passing through the cities Feldirkch, Dornbirn, Brergenz and Bludenz you can leave the main road and take your ways into the valleys: the Bregenzerwald, famous for its cheese and wood shingled houses, the Großes Walsertal with its local products and wide range of flower species, the Brandnertal with a wide range of family offers and the Montafon and Arlberg area for enjoying alpine landscapes.
At first the valley of Vorarlberg is wide and open, then it narrows with impressively rocky peaks. A rest stop in Lech, one of the best known skiing areas in the Alps at the eastern end of Vorarlberg, is recommended. The route goes back through the Klostertal to Bludenz.
In winter the street Warth-Lech is closed.
