The VorARLBERG salt grotto in the Klostertal
The VorARLBERG salt grotto is one of the largest man-made grottos in Europe. Located at “Gasthof Post”, a traditional inn in Dalaas in the Klostertal, it is open to the public.
The grotto has been covered with 44 tons of Himalaya salt, which, at a constant room temperature of 23° C and combined with brine steam, create a pleasurable seaside climate with a high salt concentration. Spending time inside the grotto has a highly positive effect on the whole body and helps to alleviate a number of ailments.
