Vilschena Loipe | Bürserberg

closed

This scenic cross-country skiing tour takes you past the mystical stone circles and through forests covered in deep snow. The former Rona Panorama Trail was rebuilt as part of the EYOF 2015, the European Youth Olympic Festival, which was held jointly by the countries of Vorarlberg and Liechtenstein in January 2015. Now there are two shorter trails that make the Tschengla high plateau a true cross-country skiing paradise.

From the Tschengla car park, a short walk to the start of the "Vilschena" trail. The "Vilschena" circuit leads along the Tschengla high plateau past the mystical stone circles to the Vilschena district and back again. Due to the differences in altitude, the "Vilschena" trail is classified as demanding and is therefore only recommended for advanced cross-country skiers.

Changing facilities: There are no changing facilities on site.
Current status: You can find this in the daily updated trail report.

Author's recommendation

After the cross-country skiing experience on the Tschengla high plateau, the restaurants in the Dunza district and at the valley station of the Einhornbahn II cable car invite you to take a cosy break.

Equipment

Good, warm winter clothing, ideally in layers, and complete cross-country skiing equipment.
