Gavaralpe

Follow the signs to Pfarrsmähdle and thereafter onward to Bockberg. Then climb briefly down, cross over a ravine and continue up on a twisty path through Gavarwald up to the Alpe.

Ascent variant: Starting point district Mühleplatz: Metalled road following the signs to the end and then take the old steep path to the left. The path ends after approx. ½ h, take a road and footpath through Gavarwald to the Alpe. Pass the Alphütte, head right on the service road across meadows and through woods to Muther Maisäß and then on to Römerkeller.

From here thereare two options for descending into Dalaas: from Römerkeller via Hintergant - Obermason - Sponasa - Untermarias - Gh. Krone or to Braz (steep path next to Schmiedetobel), then right alongside the L97 main road until reaching the stop Braz Mühleplatz, return by bus line 90.
