From the Bad Rothenbrunnen car park, the trail winds its way through original valleys on a gentle gradient to the Gadenalpe at 1,317 m. You will discover the wonderful natural diversity of the valley with its rare spiral forests and many Alpine flowers. After a leisurely rest on the alp, which lies picturesquely in a valley basin, you will learn interesting facts about natural forest development on the way back. Shortly before you stop at the Alpengasthof Bad Rothenbrunnen, you will taste the iron-rich mineral spring that gave the Kurhaus its name, which was built in 1834. After this hike you will know why this special valley was designated a Biosphere Reserve and European Conservation Area and in 2016 was named the "most beautiful place in Vorarlberg"!
