Our starting point is the Almwasserpark - the natural swimming-pool in Klösterle. From there we can walk individually to the alp Nenzigast. After a comfortable walk of about 1,5 hours we are expected of the herbal expert Monika Entlicher at 14:00 o'clock. On the sunny terrace and with a
selfmade welcome drink we get to know each other and talk about the following hours. Then we explore the alp meadows with her herbs and plants. After a comprehensive guidance on the alp, on which we learn about the cattle position and the life in the mountains, we prepare an alpine herbs pesto from the herbs we have picked before. A snack with fresh bread, cheese and our Pesto strengthens us for the walk back to Klösterle.
Price with the Alpenregion Guestcard € 39,- per person and without Guestcard € 49,- per person
From Erlenau turn right into the valley onto Gamauscha. From there you turn right in the bend towards Klemmetobel and after crossing the ravine you go through the forest to the Kaiser parcel. To the left of the detached house, the path leads into the forest to the next clearing. A short ascent leads us to the cosy "Wolfa Maisäß". There we have a small drink and a unique view over the illuminated Klostertal. We return via the bollard to the Kristbergsaal.
