Culinary Hike Brand

A hike leads you, accompanied by three culinary pleasure stations, through the breathtaking mountain world of the Brandnertal valley. The first enjoyment station awaits you at the Frööd restaurant on the Burtschasattel with a magnificent view of the Rätikon mountains and the Schesaplana, the highest peak in the region. After the first culinary highlight, the tour continues towards Palüd. On the way, you will enjoy fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and discover secrets of alpine nature and its inhabitants along the Natursprünge trail. Freshly invigorated by a cosy rest at Alpengasthof Melkboden, the trail leads back to the valley on foot or alternatively with the Palüd cable car and on to the sweet conclusion at Café Restaurant Gufer55.

Bus stop: Entrance/exit at Brand, Dorfbahn. For the return trip, board at Brand, Palüdbahn. Timetable information at www.vmobil.at. The bus ticket is not included in the price.

Walking time: cable car ride with Dorf- and Panoramabahn

Lunch at Alpengasthof Melkboden
Traditional cheese paste "Käsespätzle" with mixed salad or traditional "Gröstel", incl. 1 small drink
Walking time: 50 min to the Inner Parpfienzalpe, 55 min to Alpengasthof Melkboden

Sweet closing at Cafe Restaurant Gufer55
Cup of ice cream of own choice incl. 1 cup of coffee
Walking time: 1 h 30 min to Cafe Restaurant Gufer55 or cable car ride and some minutes walk, from there another 10 minutes to the starting point.
