In this newly cast parable, the well-known comedy takes its eternally hopeless course and makes us speechless and yet more alive than ever before. Based on Jean-Paul Sartre's classic "Closed Society", a multimedia dance and music performance is created. The original representation of spoken theatre is deliberately excluded in order to transfer the role of language into the genres of dance, music and projection. Sartre's text serves as a narrative basis, whereby the unconventional translation and especially the dialogue between the three forms of representation opens up new interpretation spaces. At the centre are the torture servants of the other, two contemporary dancers and one urban dancer. Their actions, movements and choreographies are supported by three jazz musicians (two violins and a cello) and live projections.
