Theteam of Shakespeare am Berg aroundauthor and director Thomas Welte is looking forward to a new outdoor theaterseason. For the fourth time, viewers in Bludenz will enjoy a fun-filled eveningthat gives them a fresh look at the supposedly familiar. A SUMMER NIGHT DREAM!
Shakespeare am Berg hasspent the past few years playing the arena on the Muttersberg and is now movingto Hinterplärsch, which may well be known to some as the venue of the WoodrockFestival, again impressive backdrops are built and taken care of the physicalwell-being. The new venue offers guests a rustic atmosphere in the midst ofnature with easy accessibility and a few more degrees of wellbeing.
That'swhat's up in the play - the fairy world in the uprising, the human world indispute. In the middle of it a bad troll. And this provides for wild confusionin both worlds. The focus of this year's Shakespeaream Berg production is on the four lovers who stumble in the thicket of asupersaturated society and want to find their own way out.
Thenthere are the fairies, the trolls and their mysterious activities. But are theyjust an expression of a fantastic parallel world for Shakespeare or do theyactually reflect our inner life? For who does not know them, the soft voices intheir heads, which disturb everyone and confuse more than they would like.
