City museum Bludenz - Experience Bludenz history up close

The Bludenz City Museum has been housed in the so-called "Oberes Tor" (Upper Gate) since 1922, a building that is still a visible expression of the city's former fortifications. The thematic focus of the Bludenz City Museum is on the history of the city in the Middle Ages and the early modern period, as well as on the former function of the Oberes Tor. New insights into the history of the building have also been incorporated into the exhibition.
