Book presentation 'Of the twelve rough nights and the 13th moon'.

By bike from Vienna to Tehran
On foot over the Kurdish mountains
By inflatable boat across the Mediterranean
3 true stories about traveling and flight

About the book:
Anyone who wants to go to Vienna from IRAN must first travel through Turkey and, before that, through the whole of Southeastern Europe. One could say: first the Balkan route, then the Silk Road. As? Of course by bike. Paul starts the journey of a lifetime with two friends in the summer of 2015. At the same time, Malek from Afghanistan and Filip from Syria are leaving their homeland. They flee to save their lives. Three young men travel the same route, at the same time, in opposite directions. They cross the same borders, rest in the same cities and yet the difference could not be greater. Exuberant adventure meets existential flight in hard cuts. And the special? Everything actually happened like that.

About the author:
Franz Paul Horn studied biology and journalism. He is an athlete, philanthropist and adventurer, traveling around the world. The trip to Iran is changing his life. Back in his homeland, he encounters refugees and collects, fascinated and shocked at the same time, their incredible stories. Franz Paul Horn lives and works in Vienna.
